GEWEX Cloud System Study: Working Group 3

Cloud Layering

A number of radars are being used to investigate cloud layering around the world or are under development. Data from some of these cloud profiling radars are currently available on-line and background information on the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Program (ARM) radars is as well through the Instruments Section of their home page. Additional home page connections will be added as appropriate.

A list of publications related to cloud profiling radars is available. Please send additions to this list to Markus Quante at GKSS.
