NCEP/NCAR REANALYSIS FOR ARM-1994 SGP IOP FIELD CAMPAIGN

During this August 1994, special launches were made in support of the Global Energy and Water Cycle Experiment (GEWEX) Continental-scale International Project (GCIP) and GCIP Integrated Systems Test (GIST) as part of an effort to improve climate models by improving parameterizations of hydrolic and energy cycles.

The data presented here are from 1 Aug 1994 to 31 Aug 1994 and cover a region from 25N to 45N latitude and from 120W to 80W longitude.

Selected variables from the NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis are available here for display as GIF images, or for downloading to your local disk. If you are downloading data, please see the browse data format description. Also take note of the version and reference information.
